Assalatu
Sunday
10am - 12pm

assalatu
This popular yet debateable form of worship (primarily peculiar to our Yoruba speaking members) takes place every Sunday morning. It is a lively prayer and praise session consisting of repetitive supplications, reading of the Qu'ran and beating of the 'bandiri' - a flat round hand-held drum.
Originally conceived as a means of engaging our Muslim youth in productive worship on Sunday mornings, it also functions as a means of bringing the community together.
